It is with great pleasure that we announce the names of two outstanding graduating high school students selected for this yearโs Cray Physical Therapy scholarship.
Dr. Shawn Cray and his practice manager Caroline Correa attended both the Weymouth high school and Norwell High School (Massachusetts) scholarship night in order to personally present these recipients with a $1,000 scholarship to put towards their continuing education in the field of physical therapy. These future physical therapy students were chosen because of their outstanding grades and a strong commitment towards their continuing education in the field of physical therapy.
Special thanks to our team here at Cray Physical Therapy for always supporting our mission. To Amy Greene, Ed.M., C.A.G.S. School Counselor of Norwell High School, Betsy Harris, Community Relations Liaison of Weymouth Public Schools and Terry Fitzgerald, Finance Secretary of Weymouth High School for working directly with our Marketing Director on the details of the event.ย And most important, to you, our patients! You have been so supportive of us and our new cause. Without all of your help, this would not have been possible.
Our Scholarship
Over the years we have donated to various causes/charities and sponsored many local community events. In 2021, we began focusing our efforts on establishing our singular mission of building a Physical Therapy Scholarship to financially assist local graduating high school students attending physical therapy school. We designed sweatshirts to sell at our three clinics and those proceeds have gone towards funding our scholarships. We are hoping this small step may help ease the financial burden placed on these students today.
