About Our Foundation
The Cray Physical Therapy Scholarship Foundation was established by Shawn Cray, DPT, CSCS, in 2021 to support students who aspire to pursue advanced education in physical therapy. Cray Physical Therapy has supported various charitable organizations and sponsored local community events for many years. However, starting in 2021, we decided to focus on our primary objective of providing financial assistance to local high school graduates committed to pursuing a career in physical therapy. Higher education can be challenging, especially when financial constraints become a barrier. Therefore, we aim to help alleviate the financial burden on these students and make their journey towards obtaining a degree smoother.

If you attend any high schools in Braintree, Weymouth, or Norwell where we practice, we encourage you to take action and speak with your guidance counselor. Remember, applications close in February, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to pursue your dreams!

Meet our 2023 scholarship recipients.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the names of two outstanding graduating high school students selected for this year’s Cray Physical Therapy scholarship.
Dr. Shawn Cray and his practice manager Caroline Correa attended both the Weymouth High School and Norwell High School scholarship night in order to personally present these recipients with a $1,000 scholarship to put towards their continuing education in the field of physical therapy. These future physical therapy students were chosen because of their outstanding grades and a strong commitment towards their continuing education in the field of physical therapy.
Graduating senior from Weymouth High School; Alicia Principe and graduating senior from Norwell High School; Sarah Pegurri. We believe that these recipients of this year’s scholarship are incredibly deserving.
