About Our Foundation

The Cray Physical Therapy Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2021 by Shawn Cray, DPT, CSCS, with a clear mission: to support and empower the next generation of physical therapists. While Cray Physical Therapy has long supported charitable causes and community events, we made a purposeful shift to focus our efforts on a cause close to our hearts—helping local students pursue a career in physical therapy.

We understand that higher education can be both exciting and overwhelming, especially when financial challenges present obstacles. That’s why our foundation is committed to providing meaningful financial assistance to high school graduates from our surrounding communities who are passionate about pursuing a career in physical therapy. Our goal is to help ease the burden and make their journey toward a degree a little easier—and a lot more possible.

One of the ways we can fund our scholarship is by selling our Cray PT sweatshirts. Every penny earned from these sales will support our yearly scholarships. We aim to ease the financial weight these students face today, and we hope this small step will make a meaningful difference.
