Tessa began working at Cray PT in 2017 after earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University. While at BU, Tessa completed multiple clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics and vestibular neurological rehabilitation. During her clinical experience at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN Tessa worked full time with patients experiencing dizziness. This resulted in her development of a unique skill set and ability to diagnose and treat dizziness related to vertigo, concussion, and other inner ear dysfunction.
Tessa’s clinical interests include working with patients experiencing dizziness related to vertigo or concussion, those who wish to improve their balance or decrease their fall risk, as well as patients experiencing orthopedic diagnoses or musculoskeletal injury related to sports or work tasks. Her treatment philosophy centers around her patients playing an active role in their recovery through exercise and movement to achieve their functional and activity related goals.
Outside of the clinic, Tessa is a staff coaching professional at The Skating Club of Boston teaching figure skating part-time. Tessa is a former competitive figure skater. She was an international competitor, intercollegiate national medalist, and regional finalist competing and performing in shows for 15 years.
