Miles graduated from Northeastern University in 2019, earning both his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Rehabilitation Science. During his undergraduate program he completed the Concentration in Sports, Strength and Conditioning and completed dual-minors in Exercise Science and Psychology. His three doctoral clinical rotations consisted of acute care in a hospital with a large joint-replacement program, outpatient orthopedics at Cray Physical Therapy’s Braintree office, and sports physical therapy with the Cincinnati Reds at Spring Training in Goodyear, Arizona. Miles has a background in personal training, in which he has 3+ years experience training clients of a variety of fitness levels and goals. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Miles’ clinical interests include working with overhead athletes (baseball, swimming, volleyball etc.), fitness enthusiasts, and active older adults. His treatment philosophy involves the utilization of education, activity modification, and goal-directed movement or exercise to assist each individual in achievement of meaningful goals. He makes every effort to treat each client holistically, with an evidence-based approach.
During his free time, Miles is an avid snowboarder and hiker. He also enjoys lifting weights, running, cooking nutritious meals, exploring the brewery scene; and spending time with family and friends.
